If you have participated in concerts, exhibitions or watching football, it is not difficult to find that the huge splicing screen is one of the indispensable "protagonists". The AV over IP system plays an important role in the huge spliced display screen. In traditional audio and video transmission equipment, it is much more difficult than we thought to make this huge spliced screen display the content clearly. And as the number of screens increases, from 1 to 4, 6 or more, it becomes impractical to connect each screen to the computer with a wire.
Three shortcomings of traditional equipment:
Insufficient device interface: Just like the USB interface, each computer has a limited number of interfaces.
Limited transmission distance: Venues such as exhibitions and concerts are not like home office environments, and the display is next to the corresponding equipment. As the transmission distance increases, the transmission quality and rate of the video will correspondingly decrease, resulting in a decrease in image quality and an increase in delay.
Large amount of transmitted data: Large screens have high requirements for image quality. Taking a 4K resolution 30-frame video as an example, about 6Gbps of data is transmitted per second.
The traditional audio and video transmission equipmen and solution is "simple and rude", which is to try every means to extend the transmission line by using additional signal cables. The spliced display screen adopting this method does not support high-quality video well, and is prone to distortion and delay, resulting in a poor look and feel. On the other hand, due to cost constraints, distance is still a problem. This solution can handle small occasions of about 10 meters, but once the distance exceeds 100 meters and as the number of terminals increases, the cost will increase geometrically.
With the rise of AV over IP in recent years, this problem has been solved! AV over IP System is a technology for audio and video through the Internet protocol. The general process of transmission is: signal source (can be in the cloud, computer and other devices)-encoder-optical fiber-Ethernet switch-optical fiber-decoder-HD cable-display screen.
The AV over IP system not only solves the problem of transmission distance, but also breaks the limitation of the number of screens (highly customized, most of them were regular screens such as 4X4/8X8), and at the same time increased support for high-quality video and almost zero-delay transmission. BeingHD has been committed to the development of IP-based audio and video products. In order to meet the needs of different applications, it has developed a series of AV Over IP products.
